Triton Electronics has manufactured the AMV Weldcheck since 1999, we introduced the AMV 3000 as a basic entry level monitor in 2003 and the AMV 4000 transient monitor in 2006. The main requirement for an Arc welding monitor is to measure the electrical welding parameters directly from the power source. However, with the increased speed and functionality of microprocessors, monitoring systems can do more than just collect average data and can detect trends in electrical data that are used for Statistical Process Control (SPC). Other systems can predict joint quality, or be used to rank consumable suitability. The AMV range of monitors encompasses the basic AMV 3000 to the advanced AMV 4000 with its ability to store welding waveforms and perform stability analysis routines on real time data. |
